Gifts in Kind

You can support Team Jak with donations of materials, play equipment and other in kind support. This is incredibly valuable, as it helps us keep our running costs down.

We often have an Amazon Wishlist running at the request of supporters and local businesses which you can purchase things from at any time using the links provided.

Other items we could always use are:

· Stamps

· Art supplies like glitter, glue, brushes, card and card

· Tea, coffee, juice, sugar crisps juice, sweeties and biscuits - we always need these!

Payroll Giving

Payroll giving is a scheme that enables you to give a donation to charities of your choice before tax is deducted from your salary. Team Jak is registered with one of the largest payroll giving provider- Charities Aid Foundation (CAF).

Your Community

A great way to support Team Jak is to get us involved in your community. We are looking to spread the word and raise vital funds for our children and families across throughout Scotland. From talks to bake sales we have something for all our community fundraisers! Our fundraising team will be on hand to support you all the way.

Are you part of a Rotary Club, Women’s Guild or any other community organisation?

We’d love to come and tell your club, group or organisation about Team Jak and how we support children and young people with cancer and related illnesses and their families throughout Scotland. Hear all about Jak our inspiration and what type of support we give our superhero warriors and their families.

Community Volunteering

Our volunteers are a key part our Team Jak family and we are always looking for volunteers to help us in our fundraising team. We currently have a number of community fundraising volunteer opportunities including:

· Community group volunteers

· Collection can coordinators

· Volunteer speakers

We also have a number of community bucket collections coming up that we are looking for volunteers to help with. The day is broken down into two hour slots (10-12, 12-2 and 2-4pm) so even if you could spare two hours of your day then we would love for you to help us!

Hold Your Own Fundraiser

Do you have an exciting idea to support Team Jak in your community? We are looking for people to help raise awareness and funds by holding events on our behalf. One of the best ways to fundraise is to do something you enjoy! From bake sales to celebrations, afternoon teas to dinner events we are happy to support you through your fundraising journey. Here are some ideas below to get you started!

· Hold a 'Den' sale in a local community centre

· Run a coffee morning or afternoon tea

· Hold a Team Jak race night or bingo night

· Give up something for a month

2. Every time you shop online, go to easyfundraising first to find the site you want and start shopping.

3. After you’ve checked out, that retailer will make a donation to your good cause for no extra cost whatsoever!

Schools Fundraising

There are lots of ways your school can get involved in supporting Team Jak.

The first thing you could do is help us raise more money to get the resources we need to provide the very best opportunities for our children and families.

Why not bring 50p/£1 to your School for a Dress down day?

Walk for Jak- why not have a Non Kilt Walk Kiltwalk for your Team around the local area and ask for sponsors and then why not put a staff team in for the Kiltwalk- as for every penny raised for Kiltwalk Sir Tom Hunter adds a whopping 40% so if the school did a sponsored walk and the staff walked the total amount of funds raised would then get another 40% added which would help raise our funds tremendously

Why not hold a “Jak’s Den Rocks-Paint your stone day for Team Jak”

This is where each child brings £1 and is given a stone (provided by Team Jak) for painting and Team Jak will arrange to collect and add to our fabulous sensory path in our new Den to represent our local community.
