Team Jak Children, Young People & Families Co-ordinator, Jaks Den Livingston

We are looking for someone with lots of passion enthusiasm and experience in working with children, young people and families to join our growing team at Jaks Den in Livingston with a professional qualification to degree level required (because of the specific nature of this job it would suit e.g. a teacher, social worker nurse)

Hours: 20 hours per week – 6 month fixed term contract with a view to extension and possible increase of hours depending on the needs of the charity

Salary £28,000 pro rata

Summary of Job
To lead in the co-ordination, provision and evaluation of a comprehensive support service for our Team Jak families that ensures children and young people, families and professionals can access high quality emotional, social and practical support in situations where a young person or child has been diagnosed with cancer or related illness or is in remission and needs support, or sadly has died; and assessing and responding to the needs of young people, parents/carers and grandparents.

Closing date-
Monday 13th November with Interviews being held Monday 20th November.

*please note you will be required to work one day at the weekend and be flexible for possible evenings for events.
